Through an obvious deep respect for the creative process and a willingness and thoughtfulness likened to a butterfly floating through a summer breeze, Wendy Soleil manifested what we now know in this universe as, i like you. A blended concoction of sounds, the Minneapolis band i like you. can only be described as transcendent bliss with a squeeze of lemon on a sunny day.
Drawing upon a multitude of influences, the transcendental songwriting and sweetly soaring vocals of Soleil became the seed that would create the foundation of i like you.’s energetic and timeless sound. Masterfully blending their full, rich harmonies and eclectic instrumentation, (while often featuring the sunshine-y sounds of the ukulele) i like you. weaves a colorful tapestry of upbeat, heart-centered music that lends to their unapologetically unique style of world fusion/chamber pop.
