Felicitous, joyous, deliriously beautiful—and that’s just the drinks. Only kidding, of course, that’s totally about the band. I like you makes every situation better. Waking up? Turn it up. Dentist? Why is this not in waiting rooms everywhere? Hour 23 of driving across the country? Feels like a movie montage or a really great McDonald’s commercial!Horns, strings, tiny little guitars, and gorgeously full vocals from Wendy O’Sunshyne. The gypsy jazz/singer-songwriter vibe will bring boat loads of happiness into your life, just be careful you don’t wander out of the house barefoot and singing. If you did, though, i like you would still definitely like you. Eclectic is their thing. Try “That’s What We Do” for an anthem and introduction if you’re still unconvinced. Memorize the words. Sing along tonight at Cause. Add some reggae from Irie Sol. And never go home. 9 p.m. Free. –LB

All day i live for music that exists in our heart… i like you. So today, in my office at the full time job, I’ve been listening to brand new debut album “fall in like” by i like you. (band) over and over. (on repeat) *wow* i have never enjoyed an album so much on constant rotation. Seriously! Incredible composition with an arrangement of instruments capturing a brilliantly orchestrated like journey accompanied by so many layers of awesomeness!!! i like you. is the dream ‘like’ happy brainchild of local songwriter, Wendy O’Sunshyne and Joe Sheehan, among a list of other local talented musicians.

To close friends and family who may not be familiar with this band, trust me on this one, fun for all ages and your ears will be happy! i like you. “fall in like” – 10 song epic masterpiece journey… Now available at The Electric Fetus (Minneapolis) and upcoming shows. We would like to take some time and wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving and let you know how much we appreciate you!  You continued support has meant the world to us.  Every show that every one of you attended has been noted and appreciated.  Every picture taken, every word sung back to the stage, every hug, every word of support – it is all so amazing and we are truly grateful.

As for the cd that many of you have been waiting oh so patiently (well, some not so patiently) for – it is getting closer and closer to being finished and we hope to have it out and into your hot little hands just after the new year.

We are in the process of final mixing and editing. I worked with Sunny and AJ at Death By Art Studio in MasterMix last night until 4am recording the vocal tracks for Float and Flow.  THE FINAL VOCAL TRACK!!!!  After that it’s in the creative hands of our producer and sound technicians and then off for mastering.  I have heard final edits of almost all of the tracks and I can NOT WAIT for you to hear what has been created by this talented group of people. 

I have given much thought to the art form of recording and felt it would be amazing  to not just re-create what you would hear at our live shows, but to look at the recording process as a blank musical canvas.  A medium that we could use to create something sonically magical, using the talented musicians as the paints that fill the space with their uniquely beautiful colors.  Our producer Sunny understood what I was wanting to create for you all and helped me to see this vision through. I appreciate the hard work and dedication of every member of the band past and present and all who worked so hard to make this dream into a reality.

So, please be just a little more patient.  This art, it does take some time, but it is my greatest hope that you will find it to be more than worth the wait.

We do like you, and to many of you who have become family, we not only like you, but we love you.

Yes, they are.  The words, that is.  IMPORTANT.  That is why I  e n u n c i a t e 🙂

But, sometimes you can still miss what is important.  And because the words are important (yes, there’s that word again, it must be important) I am posting them where you can find them here on our website. (under lyrics)

OH, and p.s. – for all of you that are anxiously awaiting a CD, good news!  We have started the recording process and are making everything extra pretty and sparkley for you with extra glitter on top.  Soon, dear ones, soon, you will be able to take us with you wherever you may roam.   Doesn’t that sound nice. sigh.

we will be playing a PRIDE FESTIVAL  in St. Cloud on Saturday.  There will be a family day at Lake George from 11am-5pm and a drag show and dace at 7pm at the Red Carpet.  i like you will be playing form 11am-noon on Saturday – so be sure to wear your colors and show your pride!!!!

Hey all! It’s the first Harmony Park music festival of the season, Bella Tempo, and i like you. will be performing there this weekend!  If you are attending, please be sure to come show us some love and support for our set on Sunday at noon in the tent stage.  It’s supposed to rain all weekend, so what better place for us to play where you all can stay happy and warm and dry!  So be sure to come give us a listen and share a smile and a hug.
